  • Life and Business Coaching:

Coaching is a specialized mentor strategy that is used to encourage one or more ages 13 and up.  Although
coaching adheres to some of the same principles and confidentiality as therapy, it is not therapy.  Coaching
helps one to develop a action plan that encourages them to move forward on a particular endeavor i.e.
relationship, career, or life changing decision.  Also, coaching principles do not delve into ones past history
unlike therapeutic principles,  but most often focus on the present and the future, which includes ones future
goals, plans, and supports i.e. family, friends, and economic resources.

The Hip-Hop Therapist™ focuses on coaching the following:

  • Individuals who are seeking to accomplish a particular personal and/or professional goal.
  • Individuals who are seeking to get involved with the Music/Entertainment Industry.
  • Entertainment and Music Persons in need of Personal and Professional Development.
  • Helping Professionals in their practice of the approach Hip-Hop Therapy ® and other forms of
    culturally competent practice (s).

The coaching service focuses on setting goals, creating results, and facilitating change.  The service is also
consistent with the acknowledgement, endorsement, encouragement, and support of the client.
